Job Sharing

Distribute jobs across channels and track application sources.

Access

Click the Share icon in:

• Job listing actions column (hidden for read-only jobs)
• Job layout header (visible when you have EditJob permission)

Required permission: EditJob Job Permission (Super Admins and Admins always have access)

The Share button is only enabled for Published and Internal jobs. It is disabled for Draft, On Hold, and Closed jobs.

Quick Share

One-click sharing to popular platforms:

Platform	What Happens
LinkedIn	Copies post content to clipboard, opens LinkedIn share dialog
Facebook	Copies post content to clipboard, opens Facebook share dialog
Twitter	Opens tweet with pre-filled content
Email	Opens email client with subject and body pre-filled

Each platform uses its own UTM tracking (utm_source=linkedin, etc.).

Shareable Links

Two pre-generated links are available:

Link Type	Badge	Use For
Base URL	No Tracking	Internal sharing, clean URLs
VoiceHire Tracked	VoiceHire	General external sharing with tracking

Click the copy icon next to each link to copy to clipboard.

Custom Tracking

Create links with custom source names for granular tracking:

1. Enter a source name in the "Custom Tracking Source" field (letters, numbers, hyphens only)
2. Click Generate
3. The link appears below with a badge showing your source name
4. Click the copy icon to copy the link

Example source names:

• linkedin-tech-group
• indeed-sponsored
• employee-referral

Generated URLs include UTM parameters:

?utm_source=[source]&utm_medium=share&utm_campaign=job_[id]

You can generate multiple tracking links. Each appears in a list below the input field.

How Tracking Works

1. Share a tracked URL
2. Candidate clicks the link
3. VoiceHire captures UTM parameters
4. Source is recorded with the application
5. View source effectiveness in reports

Tips

Use specific source names:

• linkedin-react-developers not just linkedin
• indeed-jan-2024 for time-based tracking

Create unique links per campaign:

• Different links for each job board
• Separate links for paid vs organic posts

Only share published or internal jobs:

• The share button is only active for Published and Internal status jobs
• Draft, On Hold, and Closed jobs cannot be shared
• Verify status before distributing links
