Email Integrations

Send emails through your own email server.

Overview

Email integration lets you use your company email account for VoiceHire communications. Configuring SMTP improves email deliverability and maintains your professional branding.

Access Email Integrations

  1. Go to the Integrations section in the sidebar
  2. Click Email

Page Layout

The Email Integrations page displays the SMTP configuration card for outgoing email.

A security notice appears at the top with two pieces of guidance: for Gmail and Yahoo users it recommends using App Passwords instead of your regular password; for Office 365/Outlook users it notes that SMTP access must be enabled in account settings.

The card displays a color-coded status badge: green Configured when a connection is set up, or gray Not Configured when no connection exists.

Common Questions

Q: Why do I need an app password for Gmail?

A: Google blocks regular passwords for third-party apps. App passwords are more secure and can be revoked individually.

Q: Will emails show in my Sent folder?

A: Yes. Emails sent through SMTP appear in your email account's Sent folder.

Q: What if my connection stops working?

A: Check if your password changed or if app password was revoked. Reconfigure the integration with updated credentials.
