Candidate Profile

View and manage all information about a candidate in one place.

Before You Start

Required permission: manageCandidates (to edit; read access requires same permission)

Accessing a Profile

Click any candidate name in the search results, comparison page, or talent pool to open their profile.

Profile Layout

The profile uses a two-column layout on wide screens. The main column (left) contains the profile header, AI summary, applications, and resumes. The sidebar (right) contains the activity timeline and custom fields/talent pools.

Profile Header

The header card shows:

  • Full name with a bookmark toggle button
  • Current title and company (e.g., "Senior Engineer at Acme Corp")
  • Source — how the candidate was sourced (e.g., "via LinkedIn") and referrer name if applicable
  • Contact info — email (clickable mailto), phone (clickable tel), location (City, State, Country)
  • Compensation chips — notice period, current salary, expected salary (only shown when values exist)

Re-parse Resume

Use Re-parse Resume from the more options menu to requeue the latest resume for AI parsing. Use this if parsing failed or produced incorrect results.

AI Insights

Below the header, the AI Insights section shows a list of AI-generated bullet points about the candidate. This section only appears when insights are available. Up to 3 insights are shown by default; click Show all to expand when there are more than 3.

Applications

The applications section lists all of the candidate's applications across all jobs. Each application card shows the job title, current stage, and a link to the full application. Click Add to Job to create a new application for this candidate.

Resumes

The resumes section shows parsed content from the most recent resume:

  • Professional summary (expandable if long)
  • Most recent role — job title, company, and dates
  • Highest education — degree and institution
  • Skills — shown as tags (up to 8 visible; click to show all)

A View Full Resume button opens the full resume in a side-by-side viewer (PDF + parsed content).

If no parsed content is available, a View PDF Resume button is shown instead.

Uploading a Resume

Click Upload in the resumes section header to add a new resume file (PDF, DOC, DOCX). The new resume becomes the latest and is shown in the main resume view.

Other Resumes

If the candidate has more than one resume, previous resumes are listed below the main resume view. Click a resume name to view it, or click the download icon to download.

The sidebar shows badges for each talent pool the candidate belongs to. Each badge displays the pool name and color.

To add or remove the candidate from talent pools, click Manage Talent Pools in the more options menu. A dialog opens showing all available pools with checkboxes. Optionally add notes when saving changes.

Editing a Candidate

Click Edit in the header to open the edit form. The form uses the same fields as the add candidate form, with all fields pre-populated from the existing profile.

You can optionally upload a new resume at the top of the form to trigger AI auto-fill. When a file is uploaded, the system processes it and populates the personal and professional fields automatically. The form highlights with a pulsing animation while processing.
